Driving Time: 8.00 hours
To drive out of Ahmedabad take the road towards NH 8A and once on NH 8A drive on for another 38 kms till you reach Bavla.
The route to Bavla is littered with small roadside dhabas so in case you want to stop here you may do so here and gorge on wholesome and sumptuous Gujarati thali.
After your halt here get back onto the road again and drive on for another 72 kms before you reach Limbdi – a small village on the route where you will find some good eating places like Panchwati that serves scrumptious Gujarati cuisine, and has clean and hygienic washrooms.
There are petrol pumps as well on this route so if you need to refill your car tank get it done here and then get back onto the road again and follow signboards to get onto SH 38 and then SH 21 to reach Botad that is almost 53 kms from Limbdi.
Stop at Botad if you want to savour wholesome Gujarati thali, want to use clean and hygienic restrooms and petrol pumps along with car mechanics.
From Botad it is a drive of 93 kms and cross places like Dhasa and Lathi before you reach Amreli and at Amreli make another halt for some refreshments, freshening up and if need be getting your car tank filled up as well.
Hit the road again after your halt at Amreli and follow signboards to get you onto SH 33 and once on this highway it is a straight drive of 86 kms before you reach Gir National Park
